I have already started a topic about this watch being available, I don't really want to go over it again but all I can say is this thing is amazing, the QC pics looked good but you can never really get a feel for it until you see it in natural light, and this is a beaut.

 

I have the 41mm version of this watch with a white dial so I will do a side by side photo shoot so you all can appreciate how well made this is.

 

Ordered this from Toro and paid for DHL shipping as I am an impatient MF, Toro then sent it by EMS by mistake... Soon as I made him aware of this he refunded me the difference within minutes.

 

Literally only just picked it up and taken the plastic off it but as far as first impressions go I am very happy. The gold plating looks amazing, and far more gen like than the 41mm version. Rolex YG has a different colour to it than any other gold, those who have seen a gen will know what I mean. Once I finish work I will add side by side pictures of a gen that my mother in law has, so you can see the colour match.

 

Clasp and bracelet feel great, date and day wheel snap over at 12. Overall I'm happy as Larry.

A friend of mine has the Gen and a I must say that looks pretty damn close..

 

I am not one for rose gold but I confess you have sparked an interest as far as I am concerned.

From these pics the colour of the watch looks superb.

My preference would have been the green face rose gold - yours does look smart though. Like others have said - let us know what you think of the plating and whether you think it will hold up or not.

To be honest I thought this was yellow gold. As I did order it in YG, I think you might be right and this is in fact rose, it isn't quite as rose gold as other reps I've got but also not as yellow as my other daydate. It is somewhere in between.

Thanks mate, truth is after I saw the video and see that it was BP that was releasing it, I just knew it would be good. I took the plunge first but seeing the quality of it I think many more will follow!

 

ALso worth mentioning that this is the YG model, it does look slightly rose and tbh I had to check with Toro, but they have matched the color closer to the gen.

I actually just look at pics then read post. wanted to check the video out. I seen far to many all golds where the gold is two pee yellow. Pictures don't always tell the tale. I don't know who Toro is, I always order from trusty and kingwatch.

Gold plating is much more genlike than other YG I have seen, as mentioned above sometimes they are really yellow.

Being a young age (14) and really liking the president/daydate models I've heard they don't size down too much on the gens, I was wondering how much this sizes down as to I'm really looking into this one, thank you, if you need wrist measurements just ask!

First thing I noticed before even reading was how good the gold tone looked... much closer to gen now.

 

White dial isnt really my thing but this is lovely, hope you enjoy it.
